An Annual Tradition
This is an annual tradition in Licking County for the Food Pantry Network. During the holiday season Elves in Action, is a donation-collection effort on the square in downtown Newark. This event has collected over 1.2 million pounds of food over the last 18 years.

Help with the Fundraiser
If you want to help with Elves in Action you can! Just drop off your donations at the gazebo on the Square from
6 p.m. to 8 p.m. each evening between November 24 and December 24, 2008.

Volunteers of Elves in Action
There are many volunteers involved in this food drive. The program runs from Nov 24 - Dec 24, during this month volunteers will help take donation for the Food Pantry Network. To help provide these volunteers many local companies are recruiting there employees to help by providing there time.

The Food Pantry Network would like to thank everyone involved in this fundraising event. Also a special thanks to T100 and WCLT radio for the live interviews and updates as well as the remotes on the Square. Another round of special
thanks also goes to Ron Strong, Candy Woods, Ed Shurdell, and Tommy Douglas.
